Privacy and data handling.
This policy explains the information collected through Lake Forest Craft Skylights, why it is used, how long it is kept, and how to request deletion.
Information you provide
When you submit an assessment request, the site may collect your name, phone number, optional email address, project message, referring page, submission time, and technical signals used to reduce automated spam. If you call the tracking number, the call provider may collect call metadata, caller information supplied by the telephone network, voicemail, and a call recording.
How information is used
Information is used to receive and respond to your request, route it to a local provider who may be able to help, measure lead quality, improve the website, maintain security, diagnose delivery problems, and document the source and handling of an inquiry. A routed provider may contact you about the request you submitted.
Call recording
Calls to the tracking number are recorded for training and quality purposes. The caller hears a notice at the start of the call. Do not continue the call if you do not consent to recording; use the website form instead.
Analytics and technical data
If analytics is enabled, the site may collect aggregated usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, referrer, and interactions including phone-link clicks. Security logs may include IP address, user agent, request path, and timing. This information helps measure performance and prevent abuse.
Sharing and service providers
Request information may be shared with a local skylight, roofing, glass, or related service provider for follow-up. Hosting, email, call tracking, analytics, database, and infrastructure providers process data only as needed to operate their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and system integrity.
Retention
Website lead records are retained for up to 24 months. Call metadata and call recordings are retained for up to 365 days. Security, delivery, and operational logs may be retained for shorter periods unless a longer period is required to investigate abuse, resolve a dispute, preserve an authorized business record, or meet a legal obligation.
Your choices and deletion requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your request by emailing [email protected]. Include enough detail to identify the record without sending sensitive information. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or prevention of repeated abuse.
Security and changes
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. This policy may change when providers, workflows, legal requirements, or retention decisions change. The effective date above will be updated when a material revision is published.
Questions about a project can be sent through the assessment request form. Review the site’s role, the service guides, and the local planning guides for additional context.
